AI Course for Class 9 and 10 Students

What this age group actually needs

Class 9 and 10 students are old enough to grasp real AI concepts — not a dumbed-down version, but a plain-language one. The Ascent Program's foundation module covers what generative AI actually is, how to use it for studying without shortcutting the thinking, and where it commonly gets things wrong.

What to avoid at this stage

Avoid any course that's purely tool demonstrations. At 14-16, students remember frameworks, not button clicks — which is why every Ascent session ends with the student explaining what they built, not just showing it.

A good AI course at this age builds judgment, not just familiarity with a chat interface.
